The name Suicide Slum has nothing to do with suicide, or slums for that matter. Its simply the nickname for the worst part of town in Metropolis, Superman's adopted city. This blog is dedicated to the Man of Steel, his supporting cast, villains and various adventures.
I'd like to use this blog to answer any questions you might have about Superman and his universe and to post essays about my favorite hero. I have a Superman site here and a Lois and Clark message board here. I've been around the Internet a long time and a Superman fan a lot longer. So long that I can't remember actually learning about Superman, he was always just there and I've seen and read every version.
That's probably one of the main reasons I like Superman, he's always there and in many versions and has lasted 70 years. I can't possibly run out of something to say ;)
